It was designed to <strong>address mobile outdoor network densification issues in urban landscapes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:48px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>As <strong>data traffic booms<\/strong>, operators are facing a<strong> major challenge in deploying and installing their antennas<\/strong>. Overcrowded rooftops are no longer an option as demand for 5G antennas increases to meet the need for connectivity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This situation is even more critical <strong>in dense urban spaces<\/strong> which are facing outdoor network densification :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>On one hand, the <strong>large number of users<\/strong> in dense area causes <strong>congestion, reduce signal quality, dropped calls and slow data speeds<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On the other hand, when <strong>buildings are tall and closely spaced<\/strong>, there is greater <strong>risk of pedestrians experiencing a poor signal<\/strong> while walking down the street..<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These considerations must be taken into account by operators. It is then integrated into the glass using a patented Wave process.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Regarding installation,<strong> the antenna is connected to the radio unit thanks&nbsp;to coaxial cables<\/strong>. For fixation, Wave has developed a <strong>unique and elegant fixation system<\/strong>, to smoothly affix the antenna behind the glazing.
